Ballarat Choral Society presents the delightful Mass in D Major for SATB soloists/semi-chorus, SATB choir and organ by Antonin Dvořák. Upon completing the work in 1887, Dvořák declared that he was supremely pleased with it and that the mass could be subtitled “Faith Hope and Love for God Almighty”. Other works on the program in a similar spirit include Te Deum in C major, K.141, by W.A Mozart.
